Two-Storey Modular Buildings

Why go up
A two-storey arrangement halves the ground area you need, keeps circulation short, and often works better on constrained sites such as yards, school grounds and business parks where the footprint is the limiting factor.
Stairs
Access can be internal, external, or external with a covered stair. Internal stairs keep the building weather-tight and secure; external stairs preserve floor area on both levels. Which is right depends on the use and how many people move between floors.
Terraces and balconies
Where the upper floor does not cover the whole ground floor, the exposed roof can be formed as a terrace or balcony with railings — common on clubhouses, viewing areas and lodges.
Foundations and structure
Two-storey arrangements require a specific foundation and structural review for the site and ground conditions. This is carried out before order and confirmed in the quotation.
