A security cabin has to be comfortable enough for a twelve-hour shift and positioned so the guard can see the whole approach. We glaze the observation sides fully, keep the rear wall solid for equipment, and insulate properly for night work.

Common questions
What is the difference between a security cabin and a gatehouse?
In practice, a gatehouse controls a vehicle or pedestrian entrance and usually sits on the access road; a security cabin is a general-purpose post that can sit anywhere on site. The specification overlaps heavily.
Can it be manned overnight in winter?
Yes — insulated walls, floor and roof plus heating make it usable through the night in winter.
Can CCTV monitors be built in?
Yes. We provide power, data containment and a solid wall run for a monitor bank and desk.
How secure is the unit itself?
Multi-point locking is standard, and lockable or shuttered glazing can be specified for exposed locations.
Does it need foundations?
It needs a prepared level base. The exact requirement depends on ground conditions and is confirmed before delivery.
Can it be relocated?
Yes, the unit is designed to be lifted and moved as site arrangements change.
