Yes, where the building is configured for it: room sizes, clinical hand-wash provision, drainage, ventilation, sealed finishes, accessible access and secure records storage. Clinical and regulatory compliance is confirmed for the individual project with your advisers.

Can it extend our existing practice?

Yes. Adding consulting or treatment rooms alongside an existing surgery or health centre is one of the most common uses, with far less disruption than a traditional extension.

Can we use it as temporary decant space?

Yes. A fitted clinical building can be delivered for the duration of a refurbishment and relocated or removed afterwards.

Do you build dental and veterinary buildings?

What about laboratories or imaging rooms?

Specialist laboratory and imaging requirements — containment, extract ventilation, shielding and specialist services — are assessed case by case with your equipment supplier before we commit to a specification.

How long does it take?

Manufacture typically runs to weeks rather than the months a traditional clinical build takes, with the internal fit-out completed before delivery.

Planned room by room around the patient route

We set the entrance, reception and waiting area first, then the clinical rooms behind a controlled door, with staff space and storage kept separate. Door widths, drainage, hand-wash positions, ventilation paths and power runs are planned around the equipment you intend to install rather than a standard cabin layout.

The Adacon P600 modular building measures 5.9m × 2.2m (5900mm × 2200mm) externally, with an approximate usable internal size of 5.8m × 2.1m and an internal floor area of approx. 12.18 m² per module, and costs £10,750 + VAT per module. Each module can include a kitchen, toilet, shower, internal partitions, windows, doors, lighting, sockets and a consumer unit, and modules can be joined side by side or stacked to two storeys.

Specialist requirements — infection-control and ventilation design, medical gases, radiation protection, CQC or health-board standards and clinical equipment specification — are confirmed project by project with your own clinical, regulatory and equipment advisers.
