Modular Server Rooms & IT Buildings
Adacon designs and manufactures secure modular buildings for server rooms, IT infrastructure, communications equipment and edge-computing installations. We build the insulated modular enclosure around the project's equipment, access, cooling, electrical and security requirements, working alongside your IT, M&E and specialist infrastructure contractors. The same building suits an external server room, an IT or network equipment room, a communications or telecom room, an edge-computing enclosure or a small data-centre shell.

The building around your technology
We start from what your IT and M&E designers need the building to do: the equipment layout, heat load, power and data routes, access for installation and maintenance, and the security of an unattended site. The enclosure is then sized and specified around those requirements.
- Internal size set from rack and equipment layouts and maintenance clearances
- Cable entry positions and containment routes agreed with your IT designer
- Openings and provisions for cooling equipment positioned to your specification
- Power provisions and distribution planned with your electrical engineer
- Secure doors, locks and controlled openings for unmanned sites
- Provisions for fire detection and suppression systems, installed by your specialist
- Floor loading reviewed against rack and equipment weights
- Insulated, weathertight envelope with robust external cladding
Example configurations
Buildings combine P300, P400, P500, P600 and P700 units, with bespoke options. A separate P600 provides approximately 11.4 m² usable internally. Example areas use a conservative per-module allowance before partitions; open joins can provide more space. Units can be combined or stacked over two storeys.
A compact external server room or comms room for a business site, school or surgery.
A larger IT building with separate equipment, UPS and working zones.
Server room joined to an office, store or welfare space for an attended site.
