It depends on how the building is used, how big it is, where it sits and how long it stays there. Many domestic garden rooms fall under permitted development, temporary buildings on construction sites are often covered by the site's existing consent, and commercial buildings in public or business settings usually need an application. Always confirm with your local planning authority before ordering.

Yes. Adacon P600 modules can be stacked to form two-storey buildings as part of an appropriately designed configuration, with a staircase where required. A two-storey building of four modules gives approximately 45.60 m² of floor area on a footprint of only two modules, which is why it suits constrained sites.

They need a level, stable, load-bearing base — not usually traditional strip foundations. Because each P600 sits on a galvanised steel chassis, the load is spread through the frame, so concrete pads, a reinforced slab, or a prepared and compacted hardstanding are the normal solutions. Two-storey buildings need an engineered base.

Yes. Adacon P600 modules can be configured with toilets, showers, wash basins, internal partitions and the associated plumbing and electrical systems. These can sit inside a single module alongside other space, occupy a whole module as a dedicated sanitary block, or be repeated across several modules for higher capacity.

Yes. A P600 module can be fitted with anything from a small tea point to a full canteen kitchen or a café servery. Units, worktop, sink, plumbing, sockets and extraction are installed during manufacture, so the module arrives ready to connect rather than needing a second fit-out trade on site.

Each P600 module is built and fitted out in our production facility, transported by road, and craned or offloaded onto a prepared, level base. Transport across UK mainland and Northern Ireland is quoted per site and itemised in your quotation. Multi-module buildings are joined and made weathertight on site, then connected to services.
