Can a modular workshop take a roller shutter door?

Wide access doors, including roller shutters, can be fitted where the structural opening allows. The size and position are confirmed against the module structure at design stage.

Can I get a vehicle inside?

Vehicle maintenance bays are a common use, subject to the door opening, internal height and floor loading. Tell us the vehicle and we will confirm what the configuration supports, or route it through the bespoke design service.

Can we have three-phase power?

Three-phase provision can be planned in for machinery, with the distribution board position and circuits set to the equipment schedule you give us.

What about extraction for welding or dust?

Extraction and ventilation provision is planned around the process, with the specification agreed for your project before manufacture.

Is the floor strong enough for machinery?

Floor loading is reviewed against the machines you intend to install. Heavier plant may need a reinforced floor or a specific base design, which we confirm at design stage.

Can the workshop include an office and WC?

Yes. An office corner, staff WC, wash-up and tea point are commonly built into the same run so the whole facility arrives as one building.

We start with what has to come in and out — a vehicle, a machine, pallets — then set the door type and position around it. Modules are joined to give one clear working span rather than a row of separate rooms, with the bench, storage and staff areas planned off to one side.

The Adacon P600 modular building measures 5.9m × 2.2m (5900mm × 2200mm) externally, with an approximate usable internal size of 5.8m × 2.1m and an internal floor area of approx. 12.18 m² per module, and costs £10,750 + VAT per module. Each module can include a kitchen, toilet, shower, internal partitions, windows, doors, lighting, sockets and a consumer unit, and modules can be joined side by side or stacked to two storeys.
