Common questions
Does a holiday lodge count as a caravan?
That depends on the unit, the installation and the site licence, and it is not something we can promise in advance. It must be confirmed for your specific project before you rely on it.
Can it include a shower and toilet?
Yes. Shower room and WC are commonly built in, grouped on a single services wall to simplify connections.
Is it warm enough for winter letting?
Insulated walls, floor and roof with double glazing make shoulder-season and winter letting practical with modest heating.
Can we get a larger family unit?
Yes, by linking or stacking modules — two-bedroom arrangements are common.
Do we need planning permission?
Almost always for holiday accommodation. Speak to your local planning authority and site licensing team early.
Can it be moved?
Yes, units can be lifted and relocated within or between sites.
