How Are Modular Buildings Delivered?
Each P600 module is built and fitted out in our production facility, transported by road, and craned or offloaded onto a prepared, level base. UK mainland and Northern Ireland delivery is included in the module price. Multi-module buildings are joined and made weathertight on site, then connected to services.
The sequence
A typical installation runs in this order.
- Design sign-off and manufacture
- Base prepared by you or your groundworks contractor to our setting-out dimensions
- Delivery booked, access and craneage confirmed
- Modules offloaded and positioned
- Modules joined, roof and joints sealed, external finish completed
- Connection to water, drainage and power
Access is the thing to check early
Because modules arrive complete, the constraint is almost always access rather than the building itself: gateway widths, overhead cables, turning space for the delivery vehicle, and standing space for a crane. Send us photographs of the approach early and we will flag problems before manufacture.
Where the buildings are made
Modules are manufactured in our production facility and shipped to the UK, which is what allows a fully fitted module to be supplied at a fixed per-module price.
Craneage, traffic management and any specialist lifting requirements depend on the site and are confirmed at quotation stage.
