Accessible modular buildings
Accessible & Part M Modular Facilities
Adacon designs modular buildings with accessible layouts — from accessible toilets and showers to offices, classrooms, healthcare rooms, reception buildings and accommodation. Each layout is planned around your site and the people who will use it.
Whether a building meets Part M, Part T or Changing Places requirements depends on the specific project, site and approval. We do not claim automatic compliance or certification; requirements are confirmed project by project with your building control body.

Part M, Part T and Changing Places are different
Part M (Access to and use of buildings)
Building Regulations guidance in England on getting into, around and using a building — approach, entrances, door widths, circulation and sanitary provision. What applies depends on the building type, use and whether it is new work.
Part T (Toilet accommodation)
Newer guidance for England covering toilet provision in new non-domestic buildings, including a preference for self-contained universal toilets. It sits alongside Part M rather than replacing it.
Changing Places
A specific, larger toilet type with a height-adjustable changing bench, ceiling hoist and space for two carers. It is required for certain larger public buildings and is different from a standard accessible WC.
