Single-module workspace

This P600 garden office uses one steel-framed module in a single-storey run layout. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The conservative usable internal area is approximately 11.4 m² before partitions, so the requested WC and its enclosing walls will reduce the remaining open workspace.

The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling. Its compact proportions suit a defined garden workspace for home workers or small business owners, while the glazing brings daylight into the single-module interior. Windows, entrance and terrace

The north-facing 5.9m wall is configured with three small windows. The east 2.2m end wall has one large window, while the west 2.2m end wall also has one large window. On the south-facing 5.9m wall, a single glazed door is positioned with a large window on either side.

A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building. This forms part of the stored configuration and creates an outdoor area immediately beside the garden office. Its final relationship with the plot, access route and surrounding landscaping must be checked against the surveyed site conditions.

Anthracite external finish

All four exposed walls are selected with full-wall ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding in Anthracite. The boards run vertically and are applied between the visible structural frame. This same cladding selection is used on the north, east, south and west elevations, giving the module a consistent finish on every exposed side.

The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is included in this configuration. Final colours, junctions and illustrated details are confirmed through the project quotation rather than guaranteed from visual references alone.

Requested WC and internal finishes

A WC has been requested for this garden office, with its exact position and arrangement to be confirmed in the final room layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard. Hygienic wall panels are available as an optional selection, while plaster applies outside bathroom walls when that finish is selected.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative finishes are selected to suit the confirmed room arrangement. Wet-room PVC flooring applies to shower rooms, although a shower room is not specified in this stored configuration. No other precise internal flooring or decorative finish has been selected in the brief.

Estimate, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £16,260 excluding VAT, or £19,512 including VAT, subject to quotation and confirmation of the final details. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Siting is subject to survey, including access, levels, ground conditions and the position of the covered terrace. These checks allow the final layout and site requirements to be established before quotation.
