Single-Module Gatehouse with WC

Compact accommodation for site control

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a single-storey gatehouse with an approximately 12 m² internal floor area. Its 5.9m x 2.2m footprint makes it suitable for entrance points where space needs to be used carefully, while the windows on three sides provide visibility across gates, vehicle routes and pedestrian approaches.

The building is designed for the Security & Site Control sector and is particularly relevant to logistics parks, schools and gated developments. It provides a defined working space for gate staff, reception duties and access monitoring, with a WC included within the internal fit-out. Single-module layout

The complete gatehouse is contained within one ground-floor module. The north elevation, running along the 5.9m side, has two large windows. These create a broad outward view along the principal side of the building and allow natural light into the working area.

Both 2.2m end elevations are glazed. The east end has one full-size window, while the west end has a second full-size window. Together with the two large north-facing windows, these openings give staff viewing positions on three sides of the gatehouse without requiring a larger multi-module layout.

Access is through a single glazed door on the south 5.9m elevation. The glazed door adds another line of sight from within the building and keeps the entrance separate from the main bank of windows on the opposite side. There are no additional doors or external shutters specified for this configuration.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished with vertical cladding in Dark grey. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the overall profile simple and compact, making the gatehouse suitable for contemporary commercial, educational and residential entrance settings.

The internal fit-out includes a WC, allowing the module to operate as a self-contained staff base once the required site services are available. Price and delivery

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately. This allows the final project cost to reflect the site location, access conditions, required base and service arrangements.

Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The programme should also allow for site preparation, delivery planning and any separate approvals or enabling works required before installation. Timing can vary according to the confirmed specification, project location and site readiness.

Siting requirements

The gatehouse requires a suitable prepared, level base and clear access for delivery and installation. The delivery route and final position must accommodate the module’s 5.9m x 2.2m footprint as well as the equipment needed to place it safely.

Because this configuration includes a WC, the site must provide appropriate service arrangements, with any connection work assessed and priced separately. Ground conditions, drainage requirements, planning matters and applicable building control requirements remain site-specific and should be established before the installation date.
