Compact accommodation for site control

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a self-contained gatehouse for security and site control. The module measures 5.9m long by 2.2m wide, with an approximate internal floor area of 12 m². Its compact footprint makes it suitable for controlled entrances where staff need a dedicated working space without occupying more of the access route or site than necessary.

Typical applications include entrance control at logistics parks, visitor and vehicle monitoring at schools, and staffed access points for gated developments. The single-storey format keeps the accommodation straightforward, while glazing on every elevation gives staff useful views of vehicles, pedestrians and the surrounding entrance area. Module 1 layout

Module 1 contains the complete gatehouse layout, including the working area and WC. On the north-facing 5.9m wall, two Large windows are positioned side by side along the elevation. The east-facing 2.2m end has one Large window, and the west-facing 2.2m end has a further Large window. Together, these openings provide glazing across three sides without relying on the entrance elevation alone.

The south-facing 5.9m wall forms the main access side. It has a single Glazed door positioned between two Small windows. This arrangement provides a clearly defined entrance while retaining additional visibility from the occupied space. The door and windows are supplied as part of this exact configuration; shutters and a terrace are not included.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Light grey cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the roofline restrained, helping the gatehouse sit neatly beside entrance roads, perimeter fencing and access-control equipment. The steel-framed P600 module is delivered as a fitted building rather than an unfitted shell.

The internal fit-out includes a WC, allowing the gatehouse to operate as a practical standalone staff position where suitable service connections are available. No additional internal rooms or facilities are specified for this configuration. Price and delivery programme

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This price covers the single P600 module in the stated layout, exterior finish and internal WC specification. Delivery, groundworks and all site-specific works are quoted separately because access, distance, foundations and connection requirements vary between locations.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to confirmation when the order and final site requirements are agreed. The programme should allow for any approvals, ground preparation, service provision and delivery planning that need to be completed before installation.

Siting requirements

The gatehouse requires a suitable prepared and level base, along with safe delivery and installation access for the module. The site must also accommodate any required WC service connections. Ground conditions, drainage, utility routes and proximity to gates, barriers or traffic lanes should be reviewed before installation. Planning permission, Building Regulations and other site obligations remain dependent on the location and intended use and should be confirmed by the buyer.
