This P600 configuration is a practical gatehouse for locations that need a clearly defined point for monitoring access, receiving visitors or controlling vehicle and pedestrian movements. It uses one 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed module on a single storey, providing approximately 12m² of internal floor area.

The compact footprint makes it suitable for entrance areas where space must be used carefully, while the window arrangement gives staff outward views in every direction. Typical buyers include logistics parks, schools and gated developments looking for a permanent, fully fitted modular solution rather than a basic temporary cabin.

Single-module layout

The building consists of one ground-floor module arranged as a single internal layout. A WC is included within the fit-out, allowing the gatehouse to operate as a self-contained working space when connected to the required site services. The remaining area can be organised by the buyer around security, reception or access-control duties.

On the north-facing 5.9m wall, two large windows provide a broad field of view along one full side of the gatehouse. The east-facing 2.2m end has one large window, while the west-facing 2.2m end has a further large window. This gives the building substantial glazing across three elevations.

The south-facing 5.9m wall contains the entrance and additional glazing. A single glazed door is positioned between two small windows, creating a visible and approachable access point while retaining views from the occupied space. In total, the configuration has four large windows, two small windows and one glazed entrance door.

External finish and roof

The exterior is finished in smooth Dark grey cladding, giving the gatehouse a clean, understated appearance suited to modern commercial, educational and residential sites. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and compact. The single-storey format also makes the building straightforward to position where sightlines and entrance layouts are important.

Price and standard specification

The indicative price is £10,750 ex VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described on this page. This covers the one-module building with its listed external finish, door and window arrangement, internal fit-out and WC.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative price and are quoted separately. Any requirements arising from the location, access route, service connections or final site design will therefore be assessed for the individual project. Lead time and siting

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The programme should be confirmed when the order and project requirements are agreed, as delivery timing can depend on the final specification and site readiness.

Before installation, the site will need suitable access for delivery and lifting operations, together with prepared groundworks appropriate to the building and local conditions. The position should allow the glazed door to be used safely and should preserve the intended views from all six windows. Connections required for the WC and any other site services must also be planned in advance. Planning requirements, boundaries, security infrastructure and vehicle routes should be checked as part of the site-specific assessment.
