Single-Module Gatehouse with WC

A compact building for controlled entrances

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a self-contained, single-storey gatehouse for day-to-day security and site control. Its 5.9m x 2.2m footprint is suited to entrance points where space must be used carefully, while the approximately 12 m² internal floor area provides a practical base for gate staff. It is designed for logistics parks, schools and gated developments that need a defined control point without the footprint of a multi-module building.

As a one-module run layout, all accommodation is arranged at ground-floor level within a single steel-framed unit. There are no linked modules or upper-storey elements. The module provides operational space together with an internal WC, keeping the essential gatehouse functions within one compact plan. Door and window arrangement

The south-facing 5.9m wall has one single glazed door, providing direct external access to the gatehouse. On the opposite north-facing 5.9m wall, two large windows create the main glazed elevation. Each 2.2m end also has a full-size window, with one on the east wall and one on the west wall.

This gives the gatehouse windows on three sides, with two large windows along the north elevation and full-size glazing at both ends. The arrangement supports outward views in several directions and brings natural light into the compact internal area. No additional doors or windows form part of this configuration.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding, giving the module a clean, consistent appearance suitable for managed entrances and security points. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and restrained. The supplied building follows the established 5.9m x 2.2m P600 format and is delivered as a fitted modular product rather than an empty shell.

The internal fit-out includes a WC for gatehouse staff. The indicative price relates to the standard fitted specification for this configuration, with the final scope recorded in the project quotation. Alternative layouts and P600 arrangements can be explored through the P600 configurator.

Price and programme

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This price applies to the one-module, single-storey gatehouse described here. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative figure and are quoted separately to reflect the location, access and requirements of each site.

Typical lead times are 8–12 weeks. The actual programme will depend on confirmation of the specification, current production scheduling and the readiness of the site for delivery and installation. Delivery timing should therefore be coordinated with any required ground preparation and service works.

Siting requirements

The gatehouse requires a suitable prepared base or foundation appropriate to the site conditions, together with clear access for delivery and installation. Any required service routes and connections for the WC must be planned before installation. Buyers should also establish the planning and regulatory requirements that apply at the chosen location. Groundworks, service connections, access arrangements and other site-specific works are assessed and priced separately.
