Compact accommodation for security and site control

This single-module P600 building provides a practical gatehouse for staffed entrances, access-control points and site security positions. Its 5.9m x 2.2m footprint uses limited space efficiently while providing approximately 12 m² of internal floor area for day-to-day gatehouse duties.

Single-module run layout

The building comprises one P600 module arranged at ground-floor level in a single-storey run layout. As a self-contained module, it does not depend on adjoining units to create the usable internal space. The rectangular footprint can be positioned alongside an entrance lane, boundary or access route, subject to the site layout and required clearances.

The north-facing 5.9m wall contains two large windows, providing a broad field of view along that side of the gatehouse. The east-facing 2.2m end wall has one large window, while the west-facing 2.2m end wall has a further large window.

Access is through a single glazed door on the south-facing 5.9m wall. Together, the glazed door and four large windows provide visibility across all four exposed elevations without adding openings that are not required by this configuration.

Dark grey external finish

The exterior is finished with vertical cladding in Dark grey, giving the gatehouse a straightforward, professional appearance that suits contemporary commercial, educational and residential entrance settings. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline low and visually clean.

Internal fit-out with WC

The internal fit-out includes a WC, allowing security or site-control staff to remain close to the entrance rather than relying entirely on facilities elsewhere on the site. The remaining internal area provides the main operational space within the approximately 12 m² floor area.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative price and are quoted separately. Final costs depend on the delivery location, site access, installation requirements and any works needed to prepare or connect the building.

Lead time and siting requirements

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The project programme is confirmed against the agreed specification, delivery arrangements and site requirements, so sufficient time should be allowed for approvals, ground preparation and coordination before installation.

The gatehouse requires a suitable prepared base and clear access for delivery and installation. The site must also provide the connections needed to serve the WC. Planning requirements, building-control considerations, drainage arrangements and other site-specific obligations should be checked for the intended location before delivery.
