A wide office layout across four modules

This configuration combines four P600 modules side by side to create a 5.9m x 8.8m footprint with approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. The result is a broad, single-storey workplace for the Offices & Commercial sector, suited to businesses that need permanent office accommodation without waiting for a conventional construction programme. Each steel-framed P600 module measures 5.9m x 2.2m. The four units are linked across their long sides, producing a wide floorplate rather than a narrow linear arrangement. The specified openings bring natural light into the building from the north, south, east and west elevations.

Module-by-module arrangement

Module 1 forms the northern side of the building. Its exposed north wall has a large window, a glazed double-door entrance and a second large window. The exposed 2.2m east and west ends each have a further large window, giving this part of the office three window positions as well as the main entrance.

Module 2 sits immediately inside Module 1. Its long walls connect to the adjoining modules, while both exposed ends are fitted with large windows: one on the east elevation and one on the west elevation.

Module 3 continues the central office area and follows the same opening arrangement as Module 2. A large window is fitted to each exposed 2.2m end, providing light from both the east and west sides of the building.

Module 4 forms the southern side. It has large windows at its east and west ends, plus two large windows across the exposed 5.9m south wall. Across the complete configuration, the office has twelve large windows and one glazed double-door entrance.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in Light grey vertical cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the profile simple and appropriate for business parks, commercial premises and operational sites. There are no external shutters or terrace in this configuration.

The internal specification includes a kitchenette and WC, allowing the building to operate as a self-contained workplace. The remaining floor area provides flexible office accommodation that can be planned around the buyer’s staffing, furniture and day-to-day working requirements. Price and typical programme

The indicative price is £43,000 excluding VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building, the stated Light grey external finish, specified doors and windows, kitchenette and WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately because access, distance, ground conditions and service requirements vary by location.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to design approval, production capacity and the requirements of the individual site. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 buildings, with delivery and installation arranged across the UK.

Preparing the site

The building requires a suitable level base designed for the completed module arrangement and local ground conditions. Buyers must also allow for delivery vehicle and lifting access, safe working space during installation, and routes for the required utility connections. Planning permission, building control requirements, drainage, power, water and waste connections should be assessed for the specific site before delivery. Groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative building price.
