A practical three-module run

This P600 building uses three steel-framed modules connected in a straight, single-storey run. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating an overall footprint of 17.7m x 2.2m and approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. The long, narrow arrangement is well suited to sports grounds where space beside a pitch, clubhouse or training area may be limited.

Designed for use as modular changing rooms, the building provides a defined base configuration for football, rugby and cricket clubs. The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower, supporting changing and washing requirements within one self-contained facility.

Module-by-module window and door layout

Module 1 forms one end of the run. Its exposed north wall has two high-level, top-only windows. The south wall has a central glazed double door with a small window on either side, providing the building’s main entrance and natural light at a lower level. The exposed west end has two additional small windows.

Module 2 sits in the centre of the building. Its exposed north wall has two high-level, top-only windows, while the south wall has a further two high-level, top-only windows. These openings bring daylight into the central part of the changing room while retaining greater privacy than full-height glazing.

Module 3 completes the opposite end of the run. The north wall has two high-level, top-only windows and the south wall has another two high-level, top-only windows. Two small windows are fitted to the exposed east end. Across the complete configuration, the mix of high-level and small windows provides daylight without turning the changing areas into highly exposed spaces.

Exterior and fitted specification

The exterior is finished in horizontal Anthracite cladding, giving the building a consistent, understated appearance suitable for sports and leisure sites. A dual-pitch apex roof runs over the single-storey structure. The configuration is supplied to a full fit-out standard and includes the specified WC and shower.

The indicative price is £36,750 excluding VAT, or £44,100 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and any works required for the individual site are not included in that figure and are quoted separately. Programme and site preparation

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme depends on order confirmation, specification sign-off, site readiness and delivery arrangements. Timing should therefore be agreed against the requirements of the club and the proposed installation location.

The building requires a suitable prepared and level base, with adequate access for delivery and installation. Ground conditions, site access, lifting requirements and connections to necessary services must be assessed before installation. Any required groundworks, utility connections or other site-specific works will be identified and priced separately rather than assumed within the standard building price.
