2-Module Security Cabin with WC

Configuration overview

This P600 security cabin uses two steel-framed modules linked end to end in a straight run. The completed building measures 11.8m long by 2.2m wide, with approximately 24 m² of internal floor area arranged over one storey.

The long, narrow plan is well suited to controlled entrances where the building needs to sit alongside a roadway, gate or boundary. It provides an enclosed working area for security and site-control operations without requiring a two-storey structure. Further sector-specific information is available on the security cabins page.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the western end of the building. Its north-facing 5.9m wall contains three small windows, spaced along the elevation. The south-facing wall has the building’s single glazed entrance door, while the exposed west end is fitted with one full-size window. The east end connects directly to Module 2.

Module 2 continues the building to the east. Its north-facing wall also has three small windows, creating a total of six small windows across the full northern elevation. The south-facing wall contains a further three small windows. A full-size window is fitted in the exposed east end, while the west end joins Module 1.

Together, the two full-size end windows and nine small windows provide glazing on every exposed elevation. The glazed door gives a clearly defined external entrance on the south side of Module 1.

Exterior finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in vertical Anthracite cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the roofline restrained, giving the cabin a clean appearance suitable for operational sites, car parks and distribution-centre entrances.

This is supplied to a standard fitted specification rather than as an unfitted shell. The internal fit-out includes a WC for staff using the cabin. The position of service connections and any site-dependent requirements associated with the WC are confirmed as part of the project quotation.

Indicative price and programme

The indicative price is £21,500 ex VAT, equivalent to £25,800 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This price basis covers the two-module building with the stated layout, door, windows, Anthracite finish and WC. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately.

Alternative P600 layouts can be reviewed through the P600 configurator. Any change to the module count, openings, fit-out or arrangement may affect the final price.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme will depend on the agreed specification, current production schedule, site readiness and delivery arrangements.

Siting and installation requirements

The site must be assessed before delivery so that suitable groundworks, levels and support arrangements can be established for the 11.8m x 2.2m footprint. Safe delivery and installation access is also required, including sufficient space for the modules and the equipment used to position them.

Service requirements for the WC must be coordinated with the site before installation. Groundworks, service connections, access constraints and other site-specific works are reviewed separately and included in the project quotation where required.
