    • Anthracite vertical exterior cladding

    Configuration and footprint

This single-storey gatehouse is formed from two P600 steel-framed modules arranged in a straight run. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, creating an overall footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m and approximately 24 m2 of internal floor area. The linked format provides a long, narrow building suited to security and site-control positions where frontage and visibility are important.

The configuration is intended for buyers who need more working space than a compact security cabin can provide, without moving to a two-storey or multi-room building. Typical locations include logistics parks, school entrances and gated developments. Further application information is available on the gatehouses page.

    Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the western half of the building. Its exposed north wall has two large windows. The south wall has a single glazed door positioned between two small windows, creating the building’s external entrance and additional visibility on that elevation. The exposed west end has one large window.

Module 2 continues the building to the east. Its north wall has two large windows, while its south wall also has two large windows. A further large window is positioned in the exposed east end. Module 1 and Module 2 link together internally, with the joined ends forming the centre of the 11.8m run.

    • North elevation: four large windows across the two modules
    • South elevation: one glazed door, two small windows and two large windows
    • West and east ends: one large window in each exposed end wall

    Exterior finish and fitted interior

The exterior is finished in Anthracite vertical cladding. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile straightforward and well suited to managed entrances, boundary positions and access-control areas. The consistent cladding finish runs across both linked modules.

The glazed entrance door is located on the south side of Module 1. The specified mix of large and small windows provides openings on every exposed elevation, giving the gatehouse broad outward visibility without adding doors or openings that are not required by this configuration.

The internal fit-out includes a WC. The quoted building is supplied to the standard fitted specification, rather than as an empty shell. No further room divisions or specialist security equipment are specified in this configuration, allowing buyers to plan operational furniture, access-control systems and other site-specific equipment around their own requirements.

    Price and programme

The indicative price is £21,500 ex VAT, or £25,800 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This covers the two-module building in the configuration described, including the Anthracite exterior, stated door and window arrangement, flat roof with slim fascia, and WC fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately.

Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme depends on order confirmation, the agreed specification, site readiness and delivery planning. Alternative layouts can be explored using the P600 configurator, but changes may affect both price and lead time.

    Siting requirements

The site must be ready to receive an 11.8m x 2.2m single-storey modular building. Suitable foundations or a prepared supporting base will need to be determined for the location and ground conditions. Delivery and installation access must also be assessed, including vehicle access and sufficient working space for placing the modules. Utility connections, groundworks, planning requirements and any location-specific security works should be established before delivery; these items are not included in the indicative building price and are quoted or arranged separately.
