Configured footprint and arrangement
This security cabin uses two P600 steel-framed modules connected in a straight, single-storey run. Together, they create an 11.8 m x 2.2 m footprint and provide approximately 23 m² of internal usable floor area. Each module measures 5.9 m x 2.2 m externally, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7 m x 2.0 m.
Both modules are 2.40 m high externally and have a 2.16 m internal ceiling. The long, narrow arrangement is intended for positioning alongside an entrance, vehicle route or controlled boundary, giving security and site-control personnel a practical enclosed workspace. This configuration forms part of Adacon’s security cabin range.
Windows and entrance
The openings are distributed across the exposed walls to provide outward views from both modules. Their stored arrangement is specific to this two-module design:
- Module 1 north side: three small windows.
- Module 1 south side: one single glazed door.
- Module 1 west end: one large window.
- Module 2 north side: three small windows.
- Module 2 south side: three small windows.
- Module 2 east end: one large window.
The glazed door provides the external entrance on Module 1’s south wall. Large windows occupy the two exposed ends, while the small windows are arranged along the selected long elevations. Final fixture details are confirmed by quotation.
Venge external finish and flat roof
The selected exposed walls are finished with ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding in Venge, fitted vertically between the frame. Full-wall cladding is specified on Module 1’s north, south and west walls, and on Module 2’s north, east and south walls. The cladding cost is quote-only and is not publicly itemised separately.
Above the modules is a flat roof with an approximately 120 mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia has been selected for this configuration.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC has been requested, with its final position and layout to be confirmed as part of the quotation. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring, so these finishes apply to the confirmed WC area rather than being presented as a general finish throughout the building.
Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and other hygienic-panel styles remain selectable choices or upgrades, as do room-by-room flooring options. These alternatives are not included claims unless they are recorded in the final quotation. Layout and finish selections can be reviewed through the building configurator.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £27,800 excluding VAT, or £33,360 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and should not be treated as included within the estimate.
Siting is subject to survey, including consideration of access, ground conditions, available working space, service requirements and other site constraints. The final quotation confirms the agreed layout, fixtures, finishes, transport requirements and any project-specific works.
