A linked layout for access control
This configuration places two 5.9m x 2.2m P600 modules in a connected, single-storey run. The resulting external footprint is 11.8m x 2.2m, making it suitable for positioning alongside entrances, barriers or vehicle control points. It is designed for the Security & Site Control sector and can provide a practical working base for staff managing access at sites, car parks and distribution centres. Further information on this application is available under security cabins.
The conservative usable internal area is approximately 22.8 m² before partitions. This is based on an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m per module; a connected open layout may provide more usable space. Each module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling.
Windows and entrance arrangement
The exposed elevations use a mixture of large, small and full-size windows to support visibility around the cabin. The glazed single door is positioned on the south wall of Module 1.
- Module 1 north wall: two large windows.
- Module 1 south wall: two small windows with a single glazed door between them.
- Module 1 west end wall: one full-size window.
- Module 2 north wall: two large windows.
- Module 2 east end wall: one full-size window.
- Module 2 south wall: two large windows.
The adjoining end walls connect the modules to form the full run. Final positioning, internal circulation and the relationship between the connected spaces are confirmed through the completed layout and quotation.
Selected exterior and roof
The included exterior uses vertically installed insulated sandwich panels in Cream, RAL 9001. The selected exposed north, south and end walls have standard insulated panels with a smooth finish. This consistent treatment applies to the north and south walls of both modules, the west end of Module 1 and the east end of Module 2.
A flat roof completes the configuration. Its edge has an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia, with no additional fascia selected. The restrained cream finish and simple roof line are appropriate for operational surroundings without introducing decorative elements that are not part of the stored design.
Requested internal fit-out
A WC has been requested, but its inclusion and position remain subject to the final room layout and quotation. Where a bathroom is selected, its walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. Plaster applies outside bathroom walls when that finish is selected. Wet-room PVC flooring is used for shower rooms, although no shower room is specified in this configuration.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included wall finish. Any alternative internal finishes and floor selections depend on the final room arrangement and quotation, so illustrated fixtures or finishes should not be treated as guaranteed. Layout choices can be reviewed through the P600 configuration options.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £25,800 excluding VAT, or £30,960 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate from this estimate.
Positioning is subject to a site survey, including access, available working space and the suitability of the intended location. Ground conditions and any required site preparation must be assessed for the specific project. Final specifications, room divisions, fittings and finishes are confirmed in the quotation.
