Practical space for security and site control
This configured gatehouse uses two P600 steel-framed modules arranged as a single-storey run. Together they create an external footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m and approximately 22.8 m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance. Connected open layouts may provide more usable space, depending on the final internal arrangement. The building is intended for the Security & Site Control sector and can support gatehouse operations at logistics parks, schools and gated developments. See further applications on the gatehouses page.
Two-module linear layout
Each P600 module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m x 2.0m. Arranged in a run, the modules provide a long, narrow plan suited to observation, reception and site-control functions. The requested WC will be positioned when the internal layout is confirmed, so the usable space remaining around its partitions will depend on the final design.
Module 1 has a sliding drive-through serving window on its exposed north side. Its south side has a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window, while the west end has one large window. Module 2 has two large windows on the north side, one large window at the east end and two large windows on the south side. These are the stored openings for this configuration.
Anthracite fine-ribbed exterior
All exposed outside walls are selected with Anthracite ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding, applied between the frame with the boards running vertically. This finish covers the north, south and west walls of Module 1 and the north, east and south walls of Module 2. The roof is flat, with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia and no additional fascia. Final fixture, colour and finish details are confirmed by quotation rather than solely by illustrations.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC is requested for this gatehouse, subject to confirmation within the final room plan. Where bathroom walls are included, the standard specification uses 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels, with hygienic panels available as an option. Plaster applies outside bathroom walls when that finish is selected. Wet-room PVC flooring is used for shower rooms, although no shower room is specified in this stored configuration.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative wall treatments, floor finishes or room-specific details are selected according to the confirmed layout and quotation. The arrangement can be reviewed through the building configurator, but this page describes the stored two-module design rather than alternative configurations.
Price, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £27,800 excluding VAT, or £33,360 including VAT, and remains subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate. Siting is subject to survey, including confirmation of access, positioning and the works required for the chosen location.
