A linear two-module workspace
This P600 garden office uses two steel-framed modules joined in a single-storey run. The resulting footprint is 11.8m long by 2.2m wide, with approximately 23m² of internal usable floor area. Each module measures 5.9m by 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high externally, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m by 2.0m.
The narrow linear arrangement is designed to create one extended garden workspace rather than separate stacked levels. It is intended for home workers and small business owners who need more room than a compact study can provide. Further information about this type of space is available in our garden office overview.
Window and door arrangement
The stored design has a defined set of openings across the exposed elevations. On Module 1, the north-facing 5.9m wall contains three small windows. Its south-facing wall combines two large windows with a single glazed door, while the exposed west end has one full-size window.
Module 2 continues the run with three small windows on its north-facing wall and three small windows on its south-facing wall. Its exposed east end contains one full-size window. Together, these openings provide glazing along both long elevations and at each exposed end of the completed two-module layout.
Anthracite slatted exterior
All exposed external walls are specified with Anthracite ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding applied between the frame. The boards are arranged vertically across the north, south and west walls of Module 1 and the north, south and east walls of Module 2. This creates a consistent finish around the exposed elevations of the linear building.
The configuration has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified. Final fixture, finish and detailing selections are confirmed by quotation.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC has been requested for this configuration, but its inclusion and position must be confirmed in the final internal layout. Where a toilet or shower room is confirmed, that area requires hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring.
Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and alternative hygienic-panel styles are selectable choices or upgrades rather than included features of this design. Room-by-room flooring selections have not been specified and will also need to be agreed as part of the final quotation. The stored arrangement can be reviewed and developed through the building configurator.
Price and site considerations
The indicative configured estimate is £27,800 excluding VAT, or £33,360 including VAT, subject to quotation and confirmation of the final specification. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Placement is subject to a site survey and assessment of access, ground conditions and the proposed location. These checks help establish the transport, offloading, foundation and site-work requirements for this 11.8m-long configuration.
