A two-module workspace for the garden
This P600 configuration uses two 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed modules arranged as a single-storey run. Together, they create an overall footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m and approximately 23 m² of internal usable floor area. Each module is 2.40m high externally, with a 2.16m internal ceiling and an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m.
The format is intended as a substantial garden office for home workers or small business owners. Its long, narrow footprint can provide a practical dedicated workspace without dividing the accommodation across multiple storeys. The detailed internal arrangement, including circulation between the modules, is confirmed through the final layout and quotation.
Windows, entrance and terrace
Module 1 has three small windows along its exposed north side. Its south side contains a large window, a double glazed door and a second large window, while the exposed west end has one large window. Module 2 also has three small windows on its north side, with one large window in the exposed east end. Three further small windows are positioned along its south side.
A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building. The double glazed entrance and the combination of large and small windows give the stored design multiple sources of daylight, while the final orientation and outlook will depend on the selected site.
Black Grey external finish
The included exterior uses vertical insulated sandwich panels in Black Grey, RAL 7021. The selected panels have a smooth finish across Module 1’s north, south and west walls and Module 2’s north, east and south walls. These are the exposed outside walls in this two-module run configuration.
Above, the building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is selected. Final colours, interfaces and construction details are confirmed within the project quotation rather than assumed from illustrative images.
Requested kitchenette and WC
A kitchenette and WC are requested for the fit-out, with their exact positions and specifications to be confirmed in the final layout. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. As this design requests a WC, the applicable hygienic wall treatment and wet-room flooring will be established when that room is detailed.
Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and other hygienic-panel styles remain selectable upgrades or choices. Room-by-room flooring outside the toilet area has not been fixed in the stored design and must therefore be selected and priced through the quotation.
Estimate and site considerations
The indicative configured estimate is £27,960 excluding VAT, or £33,552 including VAT, subject to quotation. It relates to this two-module, single-storey configuration, with final fit-out details and selections still to be confirmed.
- Transport is priced according to the delivery postcode and site access.
- Offloading or cranage is separate from the indicative estimate.
- Groundworks and other site-specific works are separate.
- Siting, access and project requirements remain subject to survey.
Any changes made through the building configurator, including alternative internal finishes or flooring choices, may alter the final quoted price.
