Purpose-built access control space

This single-module P600 security cabin provides approximately 11 m² of internal floor area within a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint. It is intended for staffed access points at sites, car parks and distribution centres, giving security and site-control teams a defined base from which to oversee arrivals, departures and entry procedures.

Single-module layout

Module 1 forms the complete ground-floor building. The internal arrangement provides one fitted security cabin layout with a WC included. With no additional modules, upper storey or linking sections, the building has a straightforward rectangular footprint that can be positioned close to a gate, barrier, car park entrance or controlled site boundary.

Door and window arrangement

The north-facing 5.9m wall contains two large windows. A further large window is positioned in the east 2.2m end wall, while the west 2.2m end wall also has one large window. Together, these four windows provide outward views across three elevations. The south-facing 5.9m wall contains the single glazed entrance door, adding another glazed opening on the remaining elevation. The stated orientation should be considered when the cabin is positioned on site.

External finish

The exterior is finished in Dark grey vertical cladding, giving the cabin a clean, practical appearance suited to operational environments. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile simple and compact. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK.

Internal fit-out

The cabin is supplied to the standard fitted specification, including the internal WC. The usable space is intended to support day-to-day security and access-control duties without increasing the footprint through a separate welfare module. Furniture, equipment and any site-specific operational systems are not stated as part of this configuration.

Indicative price and inclusions

The indicative price is £12,900 ex VAT, or £15,480 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the single P600 module with its Dark grey vertical cladding, flat roof and slim fascia, listed glazed door and window arrangement, internal finish and WC. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately because costs depend on the destination, access and site conditions. Typical lead time

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The programme depends on design confirmation, order timing and the requirements of the individual site. Delivery scheduling is coordinated once the building specification, destination and practical site arrangements have been agreed.

Siting requirements

The cabin requires a suitable prepared and level base, together with clear access for delivery and installation operations. The site must provide enough space for the relevant vehicle and installation plant to approach and position the module safely. Ground conditions, boundaries, overhead restrictions and nearby operations should be checked before delivery. Any connections required for the final WC specification must also be planned in advance. Groundworks, service arrangements, permissions and other site-specific works remain the buyer’s responsibility unless separately included in Adacon’s quotation.
