    Compact accommodation for access control

This configuration uses one P600 steel-framed module arranged over a single storey. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The conservative usable internal area is approximately 11.4m² before partitions, providing space for security personnel, monitoring equipment and day-to-day access-control duties.

The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling. As a standalone configuration, it offers a clearly defined working environment without the added footprint of a connected or stacked layout. Further examples of this type of accommodation can be viewed in our security cabin range.

    Windows and entrance arrangement

The openings are distributed across all four exposed walls to support visibility around the cabin. The north-facing 5.9m wall has three small windows. Each 2.2m end wall has one full-size window, with one facing east and one facing west. The south-facing 5.9m wall contains a single glazed door.

This arrangement gives the stored design outlooks on the long north wall and both ends of the module, while placing the entrance on the opposite long wall. The final siting and orientation should reflect the access point being managed, surrounding vehicle movements, available ground conditions and safe pedestrian routes.

    Venge grooved-plank exterior

All four selected outside walls use ARLINE AR16016 grooved-plank cladding in Venge. The boards are set vertically across the exposed wall areas between the steel frame, including the north, east, south and west elevations. This creates a consistent external treatment around the complete standalone module.

The cabin has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is included in this stored configuration. Final colours, interfaces and visible details are confirmed through the project quotation rather than assumed from illustrative imagery.

    Internal walls and requested WC

A WC has been requested for this configuration and must be confirmed in the final room layout. Its partition position, access and effect on the open working area will therefore be established during quotation. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an optional selection.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Plaster can be selected outside bathroom walls where required, while other finishes depend on the agreed room arrangement. If a shower room is selected in a revised fit-out, wet-room PVC flooring is used in that area; a shower is not specified in this stored configuration. Layout and finish choices can be reviewed through the building configurator.

    Price, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation and confirmation of the final WC layout and finishes. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Placement is subject to a site survey and assessment of access, levels, ground conditions and operating clearances. The receiving site must also be considered in relation to the glazed door, surrounding windows, vehicle routes and the controlled entrance the cabin will serve.
