Single-Module P600 Gatehouse with WC

Compact security and site control space

This P600 configuration uses one steel-framed module to create a compact, single-storey gatehouse. Its footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate internal usable floor area of 11 m². The usable interior measures approximately 5.7m x 2.0m, providing a practical space for day-to-day security and access-control duties without adding unnecessary modules.

The module has an external height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. It is configured as one layout on the ground floor, making it suitable for logistics parks, schools and gated developments requiring a clearly defined control point. Windows and entrance arrangement

The stored design provides openings on all four elevations. The 5.9m north wall has two large windows, while the 2.2m east end has one large window. The 5.9m south wall contains two small windows and one single glazed door. A further large window is positioned in the 2.2m west end.

This arrangement gives the gatehouse extensive glazing across its long sides and both ends, supporting visibility around a controlled entrance or site boundary. The single glazed door provides the building’s external access. The exact relationship between the requested WC, circulation space and the main working area must be confirmed when the final internal layout is agreed.

Anthracite cladding and flat roof

All four exposed external walls are selected with full-wall ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding in Anthracite. The boards are arranged vertically between the visible sections of the structural frame, creating a consistent finish to the north, east, south and west elevations. The cladding selection forms part of the configured quotation and is not separately itemised in public pricing.

Above, the module has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified for this configuration. Final details, including interfaces around the windows, glazed door and frame, are confirmed through the quotation and design process rather than assumed from illustrative imagery.

Requested WC and internal finishes

A WC has been requested for the final fit-out, but its position and final specification remain subject to layout confirmation. Toilet or shower rooms require hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. These finishes apply to the WC area where confirmed; they should not be taken as the standard finish throughout the remainder of the gatehouse.

Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and alternative hygienic-panel styles are selectable upgrades or choices. Room-by-room flooring selections also require confirmation and are not specified as included in this stored design. Available configuration choices can be reviewed through the building configurator, with final materials and finishes recorded in the quotation.

Price, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the destination postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and should be allowed for when planning the project.

Final siting is subject to survey and confirmation of access, ground conditions and any project-specific requirements. The receiving site must be assessed for the module’s 5.9m x 2.2m footprint, transport access and the equipment needed for offloading. The quotation will confirm the final configuration, fit-out details and commercial scope.
