Compact security and site control space
This P600 configuration uses one steel-framed module to create a compact, single-storey gatehouse. Its 5.9 m x 2.2 m footprint is suited to controlled entrances where staff need clear views across approaching vehicles, pedestrians or access points. Typical buyers include logistics parks, schools and gated developments.
The module has an external height of 2.40 m and an internal ceiling height of 2.16 m. Its approximate usable interior measures 5.7 m x 2.0 m, providing around 11 m² of usable internal floor area within a single layout.
Window and door arrangement
Openings are distributed across all four exposed walls to provide visibility around the gatehouse. The stored configuration comprises:
- North 5.9 m wall: two large windows
- East 2.2 m end wall: one large window
- South 5.9 m wall: two small windows with a single glazed door between them
- West 2.2 m end wall: one large window
This arrangement gives the single-room gatehouse glazing on every elevation, with pedestrian access through the glazed door on the south wall. Final positioning and layout details are confirmed through the project quotation.
Black Grey external finish
All four outside walls are specified with smooth, vertical insulated sandwich panels in Black Grey, RAL 7021. This selected finish applies to the north, east, south and west elevations. The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120 mm steel-frame fascia; no additional fascia is specified for this configuration. Cladding costs are quotation-only and are not separately itemised in public pricing.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC has been requested for this gatehouse and remains subject to confirmation in the final internal layout. Where the toilet room is included, it requires hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. Its final arrangement, dimensions and associated details will therefore be established in the quotation rather than assumed from the approximate usable area.
Elsewhere, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. Plasterboard and alternative hygienic-panel styles are selectable choices or upgrades rather than included elements of this stored design. Flooring outside the proposed WC has not been precisely selected in the brief; room-by-room flooring choices must be confirmed as part of the final specification.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £12,900 excluding VAT, or £15,480 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and are not included within the indicative configured estimate.
Placement is subject to a site survey, suitable access and confirmation of the proposed location. Ground conditions, levels, vehicle movements, pedestrian routes and any site-specific works should be considered before the final quotation. The stored design can be reviewed through the P600 configuration process, with the WC, internal finishes, flooring and siting requirements confirmed before order.
