Compact security and site-control layout
This stored P600 configuration uses one steel-framed module in a single-storey run layout. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. It provides approximately 11.4m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance. The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling.
Designed as a compact gatehouse, the building provides a defined position for monitoring access, receiving visitors and supporting day-to-day security operations. Its format is suited to logistics parks, schools and gated developments where a self-contained control point is required without a larger multi-module arrangement.
Openings around the module
The north-facing 5.9m wall incorporates a sliding drive-through serving window. This provides a practical point for communicating with drivers or visitors while staff remain inside the gatehouse. The opposite south-facing wall has a single glazed door positioned with one small window on each side.
- North wall: sliding drive-through serving window
- East end wall: large window
- South wall: small window, single glazed door and small window
- West end wall: large window
The large windows on both 2.2m end walls complement the openings along the longer sides. The final orientation on site should be checked against vehicle routes, pedestrian access, boundaries and the intended approach to the controlled entrance.
Grey grooved external finish
All four exposed walls are selected with full-wall ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding in Grey. The vertical boards are applied between the structural frame, giving the module a consistent finish on its north, east, south and west elevations. Cladding costs are confirmed within the project quotation and are not itemised separately in public pricing.
The module has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified for this configuration. Final colours, junction details and other visible elements are confirmed by quotation rather than assumed from illustrations.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC has been requested for this gatehouse, subject to confirmation in the final room layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, while hygienic panels are available as an optional selection. If plaster is selected, it applies outside the bathroom walls. Shower rooms use wet-room PVC flooring, although a shower room is not specified in this stored configuration.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Alternative wall and floor finishes are selected to suit the final room arrangement and confirmed in the quotation. The precise WC position, associated partitions and final fit-out details must therefore be agreed before the configuration is finalised through the building configurator.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 ex VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and should be allowed for when planning the overall project budget.
Siting remains subject to survey. Access for transport and offloading, ground conditions, levels, drainage requirements, service connections and clearances around the entrance all need to be assessed for the intended location. The final quotation confirms the agreed specification, finishes and requested WC layout.
