A compact workspace for the garden

This configuration uses one P600 module in a single-storey run layout. The module measures 5.9m long by 2.2m wide and provides approximately 12 m² of internal floor area. It creates a practical, self-contained garden office for regular home working, focused study or running a small business from home.

As a single-module building, the full workspace is arranged on the ground floor without internal links, stairs or upper-level accommodation. The straightforward rectangular footprint makes efficient use of the available area while retaining enough room for desks, storage and other furniture selected by the buyer. A WC is included within the internal fit-out.

Windows, entrance and natural light

The north-facing 5.9m wall has two large windows. The east 2.2m end wall has one large window, while the west end has another. On the south-facing 5.9m wall, a single glazed door is positioned between two further large windows. In total, the office has six large windows, giving glazing on every exposed elevation.

The glazed door provides the main entrance from the south side of the building. The combination of the door and windows creates an open outlook around the workspace, rather than concentrating the glazing on one elevation. This arrangement is particularly well suited to a garden setting where the office can be positioned to take advantage of surrounding views and available daylight.

Anthracite timber finish and terrace

The exterior is finished in Anthracite timber cladding, giving the office a dark, understated appearance that works well in residential gardens. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile clean and simple. Alongside the building is a covered, ground-level timber terrace deck, providing a defined external area immediately outside the office.

The terrace can serve as an arrival point, an outdoor break area or a sheltered transition between the garden and the glazed entrance. Its ground-level arrangement also keeps the building and external deck visually connected as one compact configuration.

Price and standard specification

The indicative price is £12,550 ex VAT, or £15,060 inc VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This covers the configured P600 building with its stated cladding, flat roof, windows, glazed door and internal WC fit-out. The covered terrace forms part of the described layout, with the final quotation confirming the complete supply and installation scope.

Lead time and site preparation

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to the confirmed specification, order schedule and site requirements. Delivery timing should be coordinated with completion of the necessary groundworks so the prepared site is ready before the module arrives.

The building requires a level, suitably prepared base and adequate access for delivery and installation. The available route should be checked for width, height, turning space and overhead restrictions. Connections required for the WC must also be planned as part of the site-specific works. Planning requirements, boundaries and any property-specific permissions should be checked before the order is finalised.
