Compact extra space for the garden

This P600 configuration uses one steel-framed module to create a practical, single-storey garden room. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external module height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of approximately 2.16m. The approximate usable interior measures 5.7m x 2.0m, providing around 11.4m² of usable internal area before partitions. This is a conservative per-module allowance, and the final usable arrangement will depend on the confirmed kitchenette and WC layout.

Designed for the Home & Garden sector, the building is intended for homeowners who need additional living space away from the main house. It could support everyday uses such as relaxing, hobbies or working from home, subject to the final fit-out. Further context is available on the garden rooms page.

    Glazed single-module layout

The stored design has openings on every elevation. The 5.9m north wall contains two large windows. At the opposite side, the 5.9m south wall contains a single glazed door positioned between two large windows. Each 2.2m end wall—east and west—contains one full-size window. Together, these selected openings give the compact interior glazing on all four sides while retaining a single entrance through the south elevation.

A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building. Its relationship to the glazed entrance makes it part of the specified garden-room arrangement, while its final siting must be checked against the available garden space and site conditions.

    Selected exterior and roof

All four outside walls use the included standard insulated sandwich panels. The selected finish is smooth Light Grey, RAL 7035, with the panels installed vertically. This specification applies to the north, east, south and west walls. The building is finished with a dual-pitch apex roof, giving the single module a defined roof profile rather than a flat-roof appearance.

    Requested kitchenette and WC fit-out

A kitchenette and WC have been requested, but their precise positions, partitions, fixtures and finishes must be confirmed in the final room layout and quotation. Where a bathroom or WC enclosure is formed, 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels are the standard bathroom wall treatment. Hygienic panels are available as an optional selection. Wet-room PVC flooring applies to shower rooms if one is selected; a shower room is not specified in this stored configuration.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Plaster can be selected outside bathroom walls, while any other wall or floor finishes are chosen to suit the confirmed room arrangement. Illustrated fixtures and finishes should therefore be treated as representative until the quotation records the final specification. Layout selections can be reviewed through the building configurator.

    Estimate, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £17,220 excluding VAT, or £20,664 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.

Siting is subject to survey and confirmation of access, levels, ground conditions and the space available for the module and terrace. The quotation will confirm the final layout, selected finishes and project-specific requirements before the order is agreed.
