Single-module garden workspace
This configuration uses one steel-framed P600 module arranged over a single storey. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m. The design provides approximately 11.4m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance. Any partitions required for the requested kitchenette and WC will affect the final open workspace available.
The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling. Its compact proportions make it suitable for use as a dedicated garden office, creative studio or workspace for a small business owner. Further examples of this type of building can be viewed in our garden offices section.
Configured glazing and access
The north-facing 5.9m side is configured with two large windows. The south-facing 5.9m side has a pair of large windows positioned with a glazed double door, creating the principal entrance and a broad connection with the adjoining terrace. Each 2.2m end wall, east and west, is configured with a full-size window. Together, these openings are intended to provide a bright interior and views across the surrounding garden.
A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck runs alongside the building. This creates an external area immediately beside the office while retaining the straightforward single-module footprint. The exact relationship between the building, terrace and surrounding site must be checked against access, levels and other site conditions.
Teak slatted exterior and flat roof
All four external walls are selected for full-wall ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding in Teak, fitted vertically between the exposed frame and around the configured openings. This finish applies to the north, east, south and west elevations. Cladding costs are confirmed as part of the final quotation and are not itemised separately in public pricing.
The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is included in this stored configuration. Final colours, finish details and the appearance of individual fixtures are confirmed by quotation rather than guaranteed from illustrations.
Requested internal fit-out
A kitchenette and WC have been requested for confirmation in the final room layout. Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Other finishes can be selected to suit the agreed room arrangement, while plaster applies outside bathroom walls when that option is selected.
Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. If the final design develops into a shower-room arrangement, wet-room PVC flooring is used in that area. No other precise floor finish is specified in this configuration. The final positions, dimensions, fixtures and finishes for the kitchenette and WC are therefore subject to the completed layout and quotation.
Estimate, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £16,260 excluding VAT, or £19,512 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Placement is subject to a site survey or equivalent site assessment covering access, ground conditions, levels and the requirements of the terrace. The stored design can be reviewed through the building configurator, but the final specification and commercial details will be those recorded in the formal quotation.
