Configuration and scale
This single-storey building uses eight P600 steel-framed modules arranged in a grid, creating an external footprint of 17.7m x 6.6m. It is configured for the Sport & Leisure sector as a modular changing room building, suited to football, rugby and cricket clubs.
Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m and is 2.40m externally, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m x 2.0m. Across all eight modules, the conservative usable internal area is approximately 91.2m2 before partitions. Connected open layouts may provide more space, while the final WC, shower and room partitions will affect individual room sizes.
Perimeter openings
The stored design uses a combination of small windows, high-level top-only windows and one double glazed door set across the exposed perimeter walls.
- Module 1 has two small windows and a double glazed door on its north wall, plus two small windows on its west end.
- Modules 2 and 3 each have two high-level top-only windows on their north walls. Module 3 also has two small windows on its east end.
- Module 4 has two small windows on its west end.
- Module 6 has two small windows on its east end and two high-level top-only windows on its south wall.
- Module 7 has two high-level top-only windows on its south wall and two small windows on its west end.
- Module 8 has two small windows on its east end and two high-level top-only windows on its south wall.
Module 5 has no exposed perimeter wall or external opening recorded in this configuration.
External treatment and roof
The exposed perimeter walls are finished between the frame with Grey ARLINE AR16016 grooved plank cladding laid as vertical boards. The selected clad elevations are the north walls of Modules 1, 2 and 3; west ends of Modules 1, 4 and 7; east ends of Modules 3, 6 and 8; and south walls of Modules 6, 7 and 8.
A dual-pitch apex roof spans the single-storey configuration. Cladding is priced as part of the project quotation and is not separately itemised in public pricing.
Requested internal fit-out
A WC and shower are requested, with their positions and surrounding partitions to be confirmed in the final room layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an optional selection. Shower rooms use wet-room PVC flooring.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Plaster can be applied outside bathroom walls when selected, while any other finishes depend on the final room arrangement and quotation. Illustrated fixtures and finishes should not be treated as guaranteed inclusions; final details are confirmed by quotation and through the configuration process.
Estimate and site considerations
The indicative configured estimate is £118,200 excluding VAT, or £141,840 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Siting remains subject to survey. Access, ground conditions, required site works and the practical positioning of the 17.7m x 6.6m building must be reviewed for the intended location before final details are agreed.
