4-Module Site Welfare Unit with WC and Shower

A wide, single-storey welfare layout

This configuration links four P600 modules side by side to create a wide 5.9m x 8.8m building. Each steel-framed module measures 5.9m x 2.2m, giving approximately 46 m² of internal floor area across one storey. The uninterrupted linked format is suited to construction sites that need canteen, drying room and WC facilities within a single welfare building.

Module-by-module openings

Module 1 forms one outer side of the linked building. Its exposed north elevation has a single glazed door positioned between two small windows. The east and west 2.2m end walls each have two small windows. This is the only external entrance specified for the configuration.

Module 2 sits within the linked row. Its exposed east end has two small windows, while its exposed west end also has two small windows. The long sides connect internally with the neighbouring modules, helping form the wider open building footprint.

Module 3 follows the same opening arrangement as Module 2. Two small windows are fitted to the east end and a further two small windows are fitted to the west end. Together, the openings across the intermediate modules bring natural light into the full width of the welfare unit.

Module 4 forms the opposite outer side. Its south-facing 5.9m wall has three small windows, while both the east and west end walls have two small windows each. Across all four modules, the specified openings provide one glazed external door and 21 small windows.

External finish and roof

The building is finished in Light grey horizontal cladding, giving the four linked modules a consistent exterior. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline simple and appropriate for a temporary or longer-term construction site installation. The complete building remains single storey.

Price and programme

The indicative price is £43,000 excluding VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building configuration, the specified external finish and openings, and the internal WC and shower fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately for each location.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme will depend on the final specification, order date, site readiness and delivery arrangements.

Preparing the site

The unit requires a suitable level base, clear delivery access and enough working space for the modules to be positioned and linked. Access should be assessed for transport vehicles and any lifting equipment required during installation. Connections for power, water, waste and drainage must also be planned around the WC and shower.
