    Configuration overview

This P600 configuration uses four steel-framed modules in a straight run, creating a single-storey building with a 23.6m x 2.2m footprint and approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m and links to the next to form one long welfare building. The arrangement is designed for construction sites that need canteen space, a drying area and essential washing and toilet facilities. Further application information is available on our site welfare units page.

    Module-by-module arrangement

Module 1 forms the western end of the run. Its exposed north wall has two high-level, top-only windows. The south wall contains two small windows positioned around a double-leaf glazed door, providing the building’s external entrance and additional natural light. A further high-level, top-only window is fitted in the exposed west end wall.

Module 2 sits immediately alongside Module 1. Both exposed long walls have matching window arrangements: two high-level, top-only windows on the north side and two on the south side. This gives controlled daylight while retaining more usable wall space below the windows.

Module 3 follows the same arrangement as Module 2, with two high-level, top-only windows on the north wall and two on the south wall. The consistent openings create a regular external elevation along the central section of the building.

Module 4 completes the eastern end of the run. It has two high-level, top-only windows on the north wall, two on the south wall and one in the exposed east end. Across the complete configuration, the building has 16 high-level windows, two small windows and one double-leaf glazed entrance door.

    External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in Dark grey horizontal cladding, giving the four-module run a consistent, practical appearance. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile simple and appropriate for a working construction environment.

The standard fitted specification includes a kitchenette, WC and shower. These facilities support day-to-day breaks, washing and welfare requirements, while the remaining internal area can be allocated to canteen and drying-room use. The precise internal positioning of the fitted facilities and the required division of the available space should be confirmed during the technical specification stage. Alternative arrangements can be explored using the P600 configurator.

    Price and programme

The indicative price is £43,000 excluding VAT, or £51,600 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the four-module building with its stated cladding, roof profile, doors, windows, kitchenette, WC and shower. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included in the indicative price and are quoted separately once the site requirements are known.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The final programme will depend on specification approval, site access and delivery planning. Any changes to the stated configuration may also affect the price and timescale.

    Siting requirements

The building requires a prepared, level base suitable for the four-module run. The site must provide safe delivery and installation access, including sufficient room for the delivery vehicles and lifting operation. Power, water and foul drainage connections will be required for the kitchenette, WC and shower. Groundworks, utility connections and other site-specific preparations should be completed to the agreed requirements before delivery.
