Wide single-storey welfare layout

This configuration combines four P600 modules in a wide, single-storey arrangement. Each steel-framed module measures 5.9m by 2.2m, creating an overall footprint of 5.9m by 8.8m and approximately 46 m² of internal floor area. The linked layout provides a substantial shared space that can support canteen and drying functions alongside the fitted kitchenette, WC and shower.

Designed for construction-sector buyers, the building provides the core facilities needed for day-to-day workforce welfare without adding a second storey. It forms part of Adacon’s range of site welfare units and is designed, manufactured and delivered as a complete modular building for installation across the UK.

Module-by-module arrangement

Module 1 forms the northern edge of the building. Its exposed 5.9m north wall contains a double-leaf glazed entrance door positioned between two small windows. This provides the main point of access and introduces natural light at the entrance. The exposed east and west ends of Module 1 each have one high-level, top-only window.

Modules 2 and 3 sit within the centre of the wide layout. Their long sides connect to the adjoining modules, while both exposed 2.2m ends have a high-level, top-only window. This gives each central module controlled daylight from the east and west without using low-level glazing.

Module 4 forms the southern edge. Its east and west ends each contain one high-level, top-only window, while the exposed 5.9m south wall has two further high-level, top-only windows. Across the complete building, the window arrangement brings light into the linked internal area while retaining useful wall space for the welfare layout.

External finish and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the profile clean and straightforward, giving the building a consistent appearance on an active construction site.

The standard fitted specification includes a kitchenette, WC and shower. These facilities allow the available floor area to be organised around eating, changing, drying and washing requirements. Price and typical lead time

The indicative price for this four-module configuration is £51,600 excluding VAT, or £61,920 including VAT. This price covers the standard fitted specification described here, including the kitchenette, WC and shower. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately after the location and access requirements have been reviewed.

Siting and site preparation

The site must have suitable prepared groundworks for the 5.9m by 8.8m footprint, together with safe access for delivery and installation. The position should also account for the double-leaf entrance doors, external circulation and connections required by the kitchenette, WC and shower. Ground conditions, service routes, delivery access and any site-specific works must be assessed before installation; these items are priced separately from the indicative building cost.
