4-Module Single-Storey Modular Gym with WC and Shower

A practical layout for training space

This P600 configuration links four 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed modules in a straight, single-storey run. The overall footprint is 23.6m x 2.2m, with approximately 49 m² of internal floor area. Its long, narrow plan is well suited to a dedicated home gym or compact personal-training studio where equipment and training zones can be arranged in a clear sequence.

This is a purpose-configured option within our modular gyms range for the Sport & Leisure sector. The four linked modules create one continuous building while retaining the repeatable dimensions of the P600 system.

Module-by-module arrangement

Windows are distributed along both long elevations to bring natural light into the full length of the building. The two outer end walls each have a full-size window.

• Module 1 forms the western end. Its north wall has a small window, large window and second small window. The south wall has a large window, single glazed door and another large window. A full-size window fills the exposed west end.
• Module 2 has a small window, large window and small window on both its north and south exposed walls.
• Module 3 repeats the Module 2 arrangement, with a small window, large window and small window on each long exposed wall.
• Module 4 forms the eastern end. Both long walls have a small window, large window and small window, while the exposed east end has a full-size window.

Access and external space

The single glazed entrance door is positioned on the south wall of Module 1, between two large windows. This creates a clearly defined entrance at one end of the run without interrupting the window pattern across Modules 2, 3 and 4.

A covered, ground-level timber terrace deck extends alongside the building. It provides a useful external area for arrival, cooling down or moving between indoor and outdoor training, subject to the final site arrangement.

Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in Anthracite timber cladding, giving the building a dark, consistent appearance across its four-module length. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline restrained and complements the simple linear form.

The internal fit-out includes a WC and shower, supporting use as a self-contained home gym or small personal-training studio. The final positioning and service requirements are coordinated as part of the project specification.

Indicative price and programme

The indicative price is £44,800 ex VAT, or £53,760 including VAT, for the four-module building in the standard fitted specification. This is not an all-inclusive site price: delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately. The project quotation will confirm the final scope against the selected specification and location. Alternative P600 arrangements can be reviewed using the P600 configurator.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. Timing depends on specification sign-off, current production scheduling, site readiness and the agreed delivery programme. Any changes to the standard configuration may affect the quoted timescale.

Siting requirements

The site must have a suitable level, load-bearing base designed for local ground conditions. Delivery vehicle and lifting access must also be considered, together with safe installation space around the 23.6m-long footprint.

Because this configuration includes a WC and shower, water, drainage and electrical service routes must be planned before installation. Groundworks, service connections and other location-specific requirements are assessed and priced separately.
