    A long, practical training space

This configuration uses three 5.9m x 2.2m P600 modules linked end to end in a single-storey run. The completed building has a 17.7m x 2.2m footprint and provides approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. Its linear plan creates a straightforward space for dividing training activities into zones without adding a second storey.

Designed for the Sport & Leisure sector, it is particularly suited to home gym owners and small personal-training studios. More information about this type of building is available on our modular gyms page.

    Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the west end of the building. Its exposed north wall has two large windows. The south wall has a glazed double door between two further large windows, providing the building’s external entrance and additional glazing. A fifth large window is fitted in the exposed west end wall.

Module 2 occupies the centre of the run. As both end walls connect to adjoining modules, its exposed elevations are the north and south sides. Each side has two large windows, giving this central section four large windows in total.

Module 3 forms the east end. Its north wall has two large windows, while the exposed east end wall has one large window. Two further large windows are positioned on the south wall. Across all three modules, the configuration includes 14 large windows and one glazed double-door entrance.

    Exterior finish

The exterior is finished with smooth timber-effect cladding. This gives the gym a clean, contemporary appearance while retaining the precise proportions of the P600 modular system. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline low and visually simple across the full 17.7m run.

    Internal fit-out

The fitted specification includes a WC and shower, making the building suitable for regular private workouts or one-to-one and small-studio training sessions. The brief does not assign these facilities to a particular module, so their final position and the associated service routes must be confirmed during design coordination.

The remaining internal area can be planned around the customer’s chosen fitness equipment and training format. Equipment, specialist gym flooring, mirrors and other owner-selected gym fittings are not included in the stated configuration unless separately specified and quoted.

    Price and programme

The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately because access, foundation requirements and service connections vary from one site to another.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to design confirmation, order scheduling and site readiness. The layout can be reviewed through the P600 configurator, but any changes to the listed windows, entrance, finish or internal facilities may affect the final quotation and programme.

    Siting requirements

The building requires a suitable prepared and level base, together with clear access for delivery and installation. The site assessment must also confirm space around the 17.7m x 2.2m footprint, drainage and water provision for the WC and shower, electrical requirements, and any planning or site constraints. Groundworks, utility connections and other site-specific works are assessed and priced separately.
