A wide, single-storey welfare building

This configuration uses three linked P600 modules to create a 5.9m x 6.6m footprint with approximately 37 m² of internal floor area. The wide arrangement provides usable space for canteen and drying-room functions, supported by a fitted kitchenette, WC and shower. It is designed for construction-sector buyers who need a substantial site welfare unit rather than several separate cabins.

Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the north side of the building. Its exposed 5.9m north wall has a central glazed double door with one small window on each side. The exposed east and west ends each have two small windows, giving the entrance module natural light from three directions.

Module 2 sits in the centre of the wide layout. Its north and south sides connect to the adjoining modules, while both exposed 2.2m ends have two small windows. This central position helps form a broad, connected internal area rather than a narrow standalone room.

Module 3 forms the south side. Its exposed south wall has three small windows arranged across the 5.9m elevation. The east and west ends each contain a further two small windows. Across the complete building, the specified arrangement provides 17 small windows plus the glazed double entrance doors.

Internal welfare facilities

The standard fit-out includes a kitchenette, WC and shower. These core facilities support day-to-day welfare requirements while leaving the remaining floor area available for the site team to organise around canteen seating, breaks and drying-room use. The exact operational zoning can be agreed as part of the project review without assuming additional rooms or equipment beyond the stated specification.

External finish

The building is finished with horizontal cladding in Light grey. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the overall profile straightforward and compact, which is particularly useful on busy construction sites where permanent-looking welfare accommodation is required without adding a second storey.

Indicative price and specification

The indicative price is £32,250 excluding VAT, or £38,700 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification. This covers the three-module, single-storey configuration with the stated external arrangement and internal kitchenette, WC and shower. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are quoted separately because access, location and installation requirements vary between projects.

Lead time and site preparation

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification confirmation, project scheduling and site requirements. A project-specific programme will be confirmed before delivery, particularly where groundworks, service connections or restricted site access need to be coordinated.

The unit requires a suitable, level prepared base appropriate to the building and site conditions. The site must provide adequate delivery access and working space for installation. Connections for water, drainage and power will also need to be planned for the kitchenette, WC and shower. Ground conditions, access, service locations and any site-specific works should be assessed before the installation date.
