Two-module run layout
This configuration uses two P600 steel-framed modules arranged in a straight, single-storey run. Together, they form an external footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m. Each module measures 5.9m x 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high, with an internal ceiling height of 2.16m.
Based on a conservative allowance of approximately 5.7m x 2.0m of usable interior per module, the building provides approximately 22.8 m² of usable internal area before partitions. A connected open layout may provide more usable space, depending on the final room arrangement. This format is designed for the Security & Site Control sector and is particularly relevant to sites, car parks and distribution centres managing vehicle or visitor access. Further applications can be viewed under security cabins.
Windows, door and serving point
The exposed north wall of Module 1 includes a sliding drive-through serving window, providing a dedicated point for communication or document handling. Its south wall has a single glazed door, while the exposed west end contains a full-size window.
Module 2 adds four large windows: two on its north wall and two on its south wall. A further full-size window is positioned in the exposed east end. This stored arrangement gives the cabin glazing on both long elevations and at each exposed end, supporting visibility around an access-controlled setting. The final specification of illustrated fixtures and details is confirmed by quotation.
Selected exterior specification
The selected external finish is formed from included vertical insulated sandwich panels in Cream, RAL 9001. The specified panels to the exposed north, south, west and east walls have a smooth finish. Cladding and finish details remain subject to the final quotation and are not separately itemised in this public configuration.
Above, the building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia has been selected. The two modules remain a single-storey arrangement and are not stacked in this design.
Requested WC and internal finishes
A WC has been requested for inclusion, with its position and surrounding partition layout to be confirmed in the final plan. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, with hygienic panels available as an option. If a shower room is selected during final planning, wet-room PVC flooring is used within that space.
Where plaster is selected, it applies outside the bathroom walls. Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative wall treatments, flooring choices or room finishes will be selected to suit the confirmed layout rather than assumed from illustrations. The room arrangement and available open space can be reviewed through the building configurator.
Price, transport and siting
The indicative configured estimate is £25,800 excluding VAT, or £30,960 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Placement is subject to a site survey and confirmation of access, ground conditions and the requirements of the chosen position. The final quotation will confirm the layout, WC provision, selected finishes, transport requirements and any works needed for the specific site.
