    A compact two-module café layout

    This P600 configuration uses two 5.9m x 2.2m steel-framed modules, joined end to end in a straight run. The completed single-storey building has an overall footprint of 11.8m x 2.2m and approximately 23 m² of internal floor area. Its narrow linear form is well suited to coffee operators, parks and visitor attractions where a practical hospitality space is needed without a wide building footprint.

    As a purpose-configured modular café, the building provides space for customer service and day-to-day operations alongside a kitchenette and WC. The exact operational arrangement can be planned around the chosen equipment, counter format and intended customer flow, while the specified openings bring natural light into both modules.

    Module 1 openings

    Module 1 forms the western end of the run. Its exposed north-facing 5.9m wall contains two large windows, while the south-facing wall has a single glazed entrance door. A full-size window is installed in the exposed 2.2m western end wall. Together, these openings provide glazing on three sides of this part of the café and a clearly defined point of entry.

    Module 2 openings

    Module 2 continues the building to the east. The north-facing 5.9m wall has two large windows, matching the window arrangement on Module 1. Two further large windows are positioned along the south-facing wall, and the exposed eastern end wall contains a full-size window. Across the complete building, the north elevation therefore has four large windows, with additional glazing to the south and at both ends.

    Exterior and internal fit-out

    The exterior is finished in Anthracite timber cladding, giving the café a restrained, contemporary appearance suitable for retail and leisure settings. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline visually simple. Internally, the fitted specification includes a kitchenette and WC, supporting operation as a self-contained café building rather than an empty shell.

    Adacon designs and manufactures the P600 system, then delivers and installs completed configurations across the UK. The modules are steel framed and designed to link together, allowing this two-module run to be installed as one coordinated building. The layout can also be reviewed through the P600 configurator.

    Indicative price and programme

    The indicative price is £21,500 excluding VAT, or £25,800 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described for this configuration. This covers the two-module building with the stated external finish, door and window arrangement, kitchenette and WC. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included in the indicative figure and are quoted separately once the location and site conditions have been assessed.

    A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The programme can vary according to specification, current production capacity, site readiness and delivery arrangements, so access and groundworks should be coordinated with the manufacturing schedule.

    Preparing the site

    The building requires a suitable prepared, level base and clear access for delivery and installation. Space must also be available for the installation equipment needed to position the two modules. Ground conditions, drainage, service routes and connections for the kitchenette and WC must be considered before installation. The required groundwork and site-specific provision will depend on the location and are priced separately.
