    A practical wide-format workspace

This P600 configuration uses two 5.9m x 2.2m modules linked side by side to form a single-storey building with a 5.9m x 4.4m footprint. It provides approximately 24m² of internal floor area, giving home workers and small business owners more usable space than a typical garden room while retaining a compact, straightforward form.

The wide arrangement creates a balanced workspace that can accommodate desks, storage and shared working areas without extending beyond 5.9m in length. The modules are supplied as a coordinated building rather than separate rooms, with the internal arrangement incorporating a kitchenette and WC. This makes it suitable for regular, independent garden office use.

    Module-by-module layout

Module 1 forms the north side of the building. Its exposed 5.9m north elevation has a large window, a glazed double door and a second large window. This creates the main entrance and gives the principal façade a generous amount of glazing. The exposed 2.2m east and west ends each have a large window.

Module 2 forms the south side. Its exposed 5.9m south elevation contains three small windows, spaced across the wall. These provide additional daylight while giving this side a more private appearance. As with Module 1, both exposed 2.2m ends have a large window, so each end elevation contains two large windows across the complete building.

Together, the two modules provide large windows on both ends, a strongly glazed entrance elevation and smaller windows to the rear. The exact use of the internal space can be planned around working preferences, furniture and storage requirements. The standard configuration can also be reviewed through the P600 configurator.

    Exterior and internal fit-out

The exterior is finished in timber cladding in Anthracite, giving the office a dark, contemporary appearance suited to residential gardens. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the roofline restrained and helps the building sit neatly within its surroundings.

The internal fit-out includes a kitchenette and WC, allowing the office to function without relying on the main house throughout the working day. Their final positions and the required service connections are confirmed as part of the project drawings and site review.

    Price and programme

The indicative price is £21,500 excluding VAT, or £25,800 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in that figure and are quoted separately once the location, access and installation requirements have been assessed.

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The confirmed programme depends on the agreed specification, project details and installation schedule. Any variations from this configuration may affect both price and lead time.

    Siting requirements

The building requires a suitable, level base designed for the modules and the conditions at the property. Delivery and installation access must be checked in advance, including the route to the proposed garden position and any restrictions around boundaries, trees, overhead obstructions or neighbouring property.

Service routes and connection requirements must also be established for the kitchenette and WC. Groundworks, utility connections and other site-specific works are priced separately. Planning permission and applicable building control requirements depend on the property, proposed use and location, so these should be confirmed before installation.
