Configuration and dimensions
This modular changing room uses two steel-framed P600 modules joined end to end in a straight, single-storey run. The resulting external footprint is 11.8m long by 2.2m wide. It provides approximately 22.8m² of usable internal area before partitions, based on a conservative per-module allowance; a connected open layout may provide more space.
Each module measures 5.9m by 2.2m externally and is 2.40m high. The approximate usable interior of each module is 5.7m by 2.0m, with a 2.16m internal ceiling. The eventual division between changing space, circulation, WC and shower facilities will depend on the confirmed room plan. This configuration forms part of Adacon’s modular changing room range for the Sport & Leisure sector.
Windows and entrance
Module 1 has two high-level, top-only windows on its exposed north side. Its south side contains a small window, a single glazed door and a second small window, creating the building’s specified entrance elevation. The exposed west end has one high-level, top-only window.
Module 2 also has two high-level, top-only windows on its exposed north side. Its south side has a further pair of high-level, top-only windows, while the exposed east end contains one high-level, top-only window. The modules meet at the east end of Module 1 and the west end of Module 2 to create the straight run.
External finish and roof
All exposed outside walls are finished with vertically arranged ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding in Venge, applied between the steel frame. This selected finish covers the north, south and west walls of Module 1 and the north, east and south walls of Module 2. The building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia and no additional fascia.
Requested internal fit-out
A WC and shower have been requested, with their positions and the surrounding partitions to be confirmed in the final layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard. Hygienic panels are available as an optional selection, while shower rooms use wet-room PVC flooring.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Other finishes can be selected to suit the confirmed room arrangement. Where chosen, plaster applies outside the bathroom walls rather than within the wet areas. Final fixtures, finishes and partition details are established through the quotation and layout process rather than assumed from illustrations. These choices can be reviewed through the building configurator.
Estimate and site requirements
The indicative configured estimate is £27,800 excluding VAT, or £33,360 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Positioning and site requirements are subject to survey. Access, levels, foundations or other ground preparation, service connections and the space required for offloading must be assessed for the intended location before the final quotation and site arrangements are confirmed.
