Single-Module Security Cabin with WC

A compact base for access control

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a compact, self-contained security cabin for the Security & Site Control sector. Its 5.9m x 2.2m footprint provides approximately 11 m² of internal floor area without requiring a multi-module installation. It is suited to entrances, gates and checkpoints at sites, car parks and distribution centres where security personnel need a permanent working space with clear outward views. Single-module layout

The building is arranged over one ground-floor module and one storey. The main internal area provides the working space for day-to-day security and site control duties, while the included WC gives personnel access to facilities within the cabin. The compact plan avoids connecting corridors or linked modules, making it practical where available space is limited. Desks, access-control equipment, communications systems and other customer-specific items are not stated as part of this configuration and should be agreed separately where required.

Door and window arrangement

The south-facing 5.9m wall has a single glazed entrance door, bringing natural light into the cabin while providing direct access from the controlled area. The opposite north-facing wall has three small windows arranged along its length. A large window is fitted in each 2.2m end wall, with one facing east and one facing west. Together, these five windows provide outward visibility on three sides of the cabin, supporting observation of vehicles, pedestrians and activity around an entrance or checkpoint.

External finish

The module is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding for a restrained, professional appearance that works well in operational surroundings. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the profile simple and compact. The steel-framed P600 format is designed, manufactured and delivered by Adacon, with modular buildings delivered and installed across the UK.

Price and standard specification

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the single P600 module, its stated Anthracite external finish, flat roof and slim fascia, the specified glazed door and five windows, and the internal WC. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately. Any additional equipment, service connections or changes to the stated configuration will also need to be assessed and priced for the project.

Lead time and siting

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to the final specification, order programme and site requirements. Before delivery, the proposed location must be assessed for a suitable level base, safe delivery and lifting access, and any required connections associated with the WC and wider building use. Ground conditions, drainage, utility routes, access restrictions and relevant permissions remain site-specific considerations. Adacon will confirm the delivery and installation scope separately.
