Single-Module Security Cabin with WC

A compact access-control building

This P600 security cabin uses one steel-framed module to create a practical, self-contained position for site and access-control personnel. Its 5.9m x 2.2m footprint provides approximately 11 m² of internal floor area without requiring a multi-module installation. The single-storey format is suited to sites, car parks and distribution centres where personnel need a clear, dedicated base near an entrance, barrier or vehicle route. Single-module layout

The building has one open internal layout within the module, together with an integral WC. With no link walls or internal module junctions, the main floor area remains straightforward to arrange around the operational needs of the site. Desks, access-control equipment, storage and other loose items are not included in the stated configuration and can be planned separately by the buyer.

Using the plan orientation, the north-facing 5.9m wall contains three small windows. The east-facing 2.2m end has one full-size window, while the west-facing 2.2m end has a second full-size window. A single glazed entrance door is positioned in the south-facing 5.9m wall. This combination provides glazing on every elevation, with the entrance separated from the three small windows on the opposite long side.

External finish

The module is finished with vertical cladding in Anthracite, giving the cabin a restrained commercial appearance that fits naturally into operational sites. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the overall profile clean and compact. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK subject to site access and preparation.

Internal fit-out

The standard fitted configuration includes a WC within the module. Its exact relationship to working furniture and operational equipment should be considered when planning the final room arrangement. Any required service routes and connections for water, drainage or other utilities must be confirmed for the individual site, as these depend on the location and available infrastructure.

Price and specification

The indicative price is £10,750 ex VAT, or £12,900 inc VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the single P600 module with its stated cladding, flat roof, window and glazed-door arrangement, internal fit-out and WC. Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are quoted separately because transport distances, access conditions, foundations and service requirements vary between locations. Lead time and siting

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to specification confirmation, production capacity and the requirements of the site. Delivery and installation arrangements are agreed separately for each project.

Before delivery, the site needs an appropriately prepared, level base suitable for the module and local ground conditions. There must also be safe access for the delivery vehicle, a suitable unloading area and enough working space to position the cabin. The location of any incoming services and WC connections should be established before installation. Groundworks, utility connections and other site-specific works are not included in the indicative building price and must be assessed and quoted separately.
