Single-Module Security Cabin with WC

A compact building for site control

This configuration uses one P600 module to create a self-contained security cabin with a 5.9m x 2.2m footprint. The single-storey building provides approximately 12 m² of internal floor area, giving security personnel a practical base without taking up unnecessary space at an entrance or checkpoint. Module 1 layout

The ground-floor module forms the complete cabin. Its north-facing 5.9m wall contains three small windows, spaced across the elevation. The opposite south-facing wall has a single glazed door positioned between two small windows. This arrangement provides the main entrance while allowing staff to observe activity along both long sides of the building.

Each 2.2m end wall has one full-size window. There is a full-size window on the east elevation and another on the west elevation, providing outward views at both ends of the cabin. Together with the five small windows and glazed entrance door, these openings give the occupied space visibility on all four sides.

Exterior finish and internal fit-out

The cabin is finished in smooth Anthracite cladding for a clean, restrained appearance suited to controlled entrances and operational sites. A flat roof with a slim fascia keeps the external profile simple and compact. The internal fit-out includes a WC, allowing the cabin to operate as a more practical standalone workplace for security and site-control staff.

Indicative price and scope

The indicative price is £10,750 excluding VAT, or £12,900 including VAT, for the standard fitted specification described here. This covers the one-module building with its stated Anthracite finish, flat roof, glazed door, specified window arrangement and WC fit-out. Delivery, groundworks and any site-specific works are not included and are quoted separately. Final pricing depends on the confirmed site, access arrangements and any changes to the standard configuration.

Manufacture and programme

Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers P600 modular buildings for installation across the UK. A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks, subject to the confirmed specification, production schedule and site requirements. The layout can also be reviewed using the P600 configurator, although changes may affect both price and programme.

Preparing the site

The installation area must be ready before delivery. Requirements will depend on the location, ground conditions and proposed service connections, so suitable groundworks must be established for the module before it arrives. The site must also provide appropriate delivery and installation access. Any required utility connections, permissions, access management and other site-specific works should be identified in advance. These items sit outside the indicative building price and are assessed and quoted separately where Adacon is asked to include them.
