    Compact café configuration

This P600 configuration is a single steel-framed module arranged over one storey for use as a compact modular café. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an approximate usable interior of 5.7m x 2.0m and around 11 m² of internal floor area. The module is 2.40m high externally and has a 2.16m internal ceiling height, creating a practical space for smaller coffee operations in parks, visitor attractions and other Retail & Hospitality settings.

The design is based on one self-contained module rather than a linked or stacked arrangement. It provides a focused footprint for operators who need a customer-facing café building without a larger multi-module layout. More information about this type of building is available on the modular cafés page.

    Openings and internal arrangement

The north-facing 5.9m side is configured with two large windows. The east-facing 2.2m end and west-facing 2.2m end each have one large window, while the south-facing 5.9m side includes a glazed double door. Together, these openings are intended to support a bright, accessible café setting while retaining the compact proportions of the single module.

    • One P600 module on a single storey
    • Approximately 11 m² of usable internal floor area
    • Four large windows across three elevations
    • Glazed double door on the south elevation

A kitchenette and WC have been requested for this configuration, but their exact positions and final specification remain subject to confirmation in the completed layout and quotation. No particular appliances, sanitary fittings, counters or room dimensions should be assumed from the indicative configuration.

    Teak slatted external finish

All four outside walls are selected with full-wall ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding in Teak, using vertical boards applied to exposed wall areas between the steel frame and around the configured openings. The result is a consistent finish across the north, east, south and west elevations. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not separately itemised in public pricing.

Above the elevations, the building has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified for this design. Final details of the illustrated appearance, fixtures and finishes are confirmed through the project quotation.

    Internal wall and floor choices

Outside the WC area, the included internal wall finish is white, lightly ribbed insulated sandwich panelling. If the requested WC is retained in the final layout, the room requires hygienic wall panels and wet-room PVC flooring. Plasterboard, alternative hygienic-panel styles and room-by-room flooring selections are available as choices or upgrades rather than included specifications for this stored design.

The proposed arrangement can be reviewed through the building configurator, with the final internal plan agreed as part of the quotation process. This ensures that the requested kitchenette and WC are coordinated with the door, windows and available internal space.

    Price, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to the site postcode and access conditions. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate and are not included in the indicative estimate.

Proposed siting is subject to a site survey and assessment of access, ground conditions and any project-specific requirements. The final quotation confirms the building details, selected finishes, transport requirements and any works needed for the intended location.
