    Compact modular gym configuration

This P600 configuration uses one steel-framed module arranged as a single-storey modular gym. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external module height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of 2.16m. The approximate usable interior measures 5.7m x 2.0m, providing around 11.4 m² of usable internal area before partitions. This is a conservative per-module allowance; the WC and shower partitions will reduce the open training area available in this particular layout.

Designed for the Sport & Leisure sector, the configuration is suited to a dedicated home training room or a compact personal-training studio. Its combination of glazing, a glazed entrance and requested washroom facilities supports a practical standalone gym environment without overstating the space available. Further information about this type of building is available on the modular gyms page.

    Windows and entrance

The north-facing 5.9m wall has two large windows. The south-facing 5.9m wall has a single glazed door positioned with one large window on each side. Each 2.2m end wall has a full-size window: one on the east elevation and one on the west elevation. Together, these selected openings create glazing across all four elevations while retaining a single external entrance.

The final arrangement must account for the requested WC and shower partitions, services and practical circulation. Their exact position within the module is confirmed through the final layout rather than assumed from the external opening schedule.

Teak external finish and flat roof

All four exposed walls are specified with full-wall ARLINE AR14514 fine-ribbed cladding in Teak, applied between the steel frame. The boards run vertically on the north, east, south and west elevations, giving the whole module a consistent selected external finish. Cladding costs are quote-only and are not itemised publicly.

The module has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is selected for this configuration. Final fixture, colour and finish details are confirmed by quotation.

    Requested WC and shower fit-out

A WC and shower are requested for the final room layout. Bathroom walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard, while hygienic panels are available as an optional selection. The shower-room floor uses wet-room PVC flooring. Where selected, plaster applies to the outside faces of the bathroom walls rather than throughout the complete module.

Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Any alternative finishes are selected according to the confirmed room arrangement and quotation. This distinction is important because the stored configuration does not prescribe a specific gym-floor finish or decorative treatment for the main training area.

    Estimate, transport and siting

The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation. Transport is priced separately according to postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate from the configured estimate.

Placement is subject to a site survey and confirmation of access, levels, ground conditions and service requirements. These factors determine the appropriate site preparation and handling arrangements. Configuration details can be reviewed through the building configurator, with the final specification, partitions, fixtures and finishes recorded in the quotation.
