Compact single-module café layout
This P600 modular café uses one steel-framed module in a single-storey run layout. Its external footprint is 5.9m x 2.2m, with an external module height of 2.40m and an internal ceiling height of approximately 2.16m. The approximate usable interior measures 5.7m x 2.0m, providing around 11.4 m2 of usable internal area before partitions. This is a conservative per-module allowance, and the eventual usable space will depend on the confirmed position of the requested internal facilities.
Designed for the Retail & Hospitality sector, the configuration provides a compact base for serving drinks and refreshments. It is particularly relevant to coffee operators, parks and visitor attractions. Further information about the wider application is available on the modular cafés page.
Serving window, entrance and glazing
The north wall, along the 5.9m side of the module, has a sliding drive-through serving window. This creates the principal service opening for the café operation. The opposite south wall has a single glazed door, providing a defined point of access while also bringing additional daylight into the interior.
Both 2.2m end walls have a large window. One is positioned on the east wall and the other on the west wall, giving the compact interior glazing on both ends. The precise relationship between the openings, kitchenette and WC is confirmed through the final room layout rather than assumed from the external arrangement alone.
Venge slatted exterior
All four exposed walls are specified with full-wall ARLINE 24136 slatted cladding in Venge, applied vertically between the frame. This selected finish covers the north, east, south and west elevations around their respective openings. Cladding remains subject to the final quotation and is not separately itemised in this product description.
The module has a flat roof with an approximately 120mm steel-frame fascia. No additional fascia is specified. Together, the low roofline, visible structural frame and vertically arranged Venge slats establish the selected external treatment for this exact configuration.
Requested kitchenette and WC
A kitchenette and WC are requested for the fit-out, with their dimensions, positions and final specification to be confirmed in the completed layout and quotation. Where the WC enclosure is treated as a bathroom area, its walls use 40mm waterproof insulated sandwich panels as standard. Hygienic panels are available as an optional alternative.
Elsewhere, insulated sandwich panels are the included internal wall finish. Plaster can be selected outside bathroom walls, while any other finishes are chosen in relation to the final room arrangement. Wet-room PVC flooring applies to shower rooms; this stored configuration requests a WC rather than a shower room, so no shower-room floor is assumed.
Price and site considerations
The indicative configured estimate is £14,100 excluding VAT, or £16,920 including VAT, subject to quotation and confirmation of the final details. Transport is priced separately according to the delivery postcode and site access. Offloading or cranage, groundworks and other site-specific works are also separate.
Siting is subject to a site survey and confirmation of access, levels, ground conditions and the requirements for positioning the module. The final quotation confirms the internal layout, selected fixtures, finishes and project-specific costs. The configuration can be reviewed through the building configurator.
