Compact single-module configuration

This P600 garden office uses one steel-framed module in a single-storey run layout. The external footprint is 5.9 m x 2.2 m, providing approximately 11 m² of internal floor area. It is a practical size for a focused home workspace, small business office or quiet room away from the main house, without joining multiple modules or adding an upper floor.

Doors, windows and internal layout

The south-facing 5.9 m side forms the main elevation. It has a single glazed entrance door positioned between two large windows. This arrangement gives the office a clear central access point and broad areas of glazing on either side.

The opposite north-facing 5.9 m wall has three small windows. The east and west 2.2 m end walls are finished in solid cladding with no doors or windows. The opening schedule for this configuration is:

Inside, the module includes a WC as part of the specified fit-out. The remaining floor area forms the garden office workspace, allowing the building to combine day-to-day working space with its own facilities in one compact module.

The exterior is finished in dark grey timber cladding. A flat roof and slim fascia keep the profile simple and restrained, making the building suitable for a domestic garden or home-based business setting. The solid end walls also create uninterrupted elevations where openings are not required.

Delivery, groundworks and site-specific works are not included in the indicative building price. These items are quoted separately because transport, access, lifting arrangements, base preparation and service connections depend on the property and installation location. Typical lead time

A typical lead time is 8–12 weeks. The programme is confirmed for each order and may vary according to the final specification, site information and installation arrangements. Adacon designs, manufactures and delivers the P600 system, with buildings delivered and installed across the UK.

Preparing the site

The proposed position must provide suitable access for delivery and installation. The site will also need appropriate prepared groundworks and any required service connections for the WC. Access restrictions, lifting requirements, levels, drainage and utility routes should be assessed before manufacture and delivery are scheduled. Groundworks and other site-specific works are then priced separately to reflect the actual conditions rather than being built into a general allowance.
